Support for our Momma's final journey home
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to ask for support during this difficult time. Our beloved Momma has been battling Parkinson’s disease, and as her health declines, we are faced with the heartbreaking reality of planning for her funeral. For a moment we had a glimmer of hope that she was getting better as she was showing signs, and then Covid hit her hard. She got over covid but it has left her weak, tired, and we believe she is ready for her journey home.
She was a single mother to 3 girls, always provided for us, we never went without, ever. When we were younger our Mom had to take care of one of her children that were terminally ill, she did this with such strength, love and empathy, because of the care Mom provided that daughter is now in her 50's and living life. She was then struck with another child having the same health issue (just not as bad) when she became a teenager, to only think she was going to have to relive this again, the pain she must have been going through, once again she did it with strength, love and empathy. She never gave up!!! She always worked hard at everything she did, she took care of her parents when they went on their journey home. She also raised 4 of her grandchildren without any hesitation, providing a safe and loving home.
Our mom has always been a beacon of love and kindness, dedicating her life to caring for others with her whole heart. She was selfless, always putting the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. Despite her struggles, she never stopped giving love and warmth to those around her.
She has been living on a fixed income, relying solely on Social Security, which has left little to prepare for end-of-life expenses. As we navigate this overwhelming time, we are asking for help to honor her life with a funeral that reflects the love she shared with the world.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to give her the farewell she deserves. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, love, and support.
