My mom suffered a stroke last week. It's been a difficult time for our family, especially since business has been slow for her. Our mom has always been the kind of person who gives to others and never asks for anything in return. Even when she battled cancer, spent over three months bedridden with Morphea, or when my brother and I were in the NICU for 12 weeks, she refused to let anyone set up a GoFundMe for her. She’s always put others first, no matter how tough things got for her.

Now, with her stroke and the financial strain it’s caused, me and my brother are reaching out for help. The funds raised will go directly toward her $14K deductible and other bills since she can't work full time for a while. Our hope is to ease her stress so she can focus on healing, without the added worry of how to pay for basic needs and care.
