Our dear friend and talented hairdresser, Mikolaj, has received a heartbreaking diagnosis: leukemia. At 69, he is facing one of the toughest battles of his life, made even harder by the loss of his beloved wife three years ago. His son, Sam, has put his graduate studies on hold to care for him after Mikolaj spent 10 days in the hospital.

Despite these challenges, Mikolaj remains determined to return to work on a part-time basis soon. Those of us who know him understand how much he gives to others—his kindness, his skill, and his warm presence have touched so many lives. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
