Support for our friend Avi

Anyone who has had the honor to meet Avishek Paudel knows what a positive and peaceful aura he has. Patience, humor and charity just a few of his qualities that have made Avi a very good friend for us. In 2019, I was in Nepal with three friends. Here Avi accompanied us all the time and helped us with many things like communicating with locals, planning the trek in the Himalayas and many more. Of course he was paid by us for this, because tourism is his profession.

Due to the worldwide pandemic he wasn't able to do his job as a trekking guide for one year now. The complete livelihood, which he earned through his passionate and honest work, is now lost for him and his family with no prospect of recovery in the near future.

But even in this situation he did not give up hope and rented a vegetable and fruit store in his hometown Kathmandu. By selling there, he was able to survive the crisis on his own for one year. Now, however, the lease is ending and money is becoming too tight to provide for his family reasonably.

Together with his wife Priya and his mother Dhan Maya, he takes care of his daughter Angle and his niece Neha. Through his job as a guide, Avi earned the money needed to provide food and health for the family and education for the children.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many people, especially in countries like Nepal, to the limit of their livelihood, and the Paudel family is one of them. Out of fear and concern for his family, Avi asked for help.

Therefore, I ask you to help our beloved friend and his young family. The goal is to be able to guarantee the Paudel family's living expenses for about a year with the donations. It is impossible to say for sure when tourism will be able to resume as usual, but it is clear that a whole season will be lost.
Of course, no one in the world has remained unaffected by the pandemic. But if you are one of the privileged people who do not have to fear for their existence and family, you can help a wonderful and selfless person a lot right now and right here, even with a small donation. Of course, 100% of the donations will only benefit the family!
