Support for our friend Alberto Aponte

Dear friends and family,

Anyone who has the privilege to call Albert a friend is aware of the kind, gentle, hard working, generous, big hearted person he is. Unfortunately, sometimes bad things happen to good people.

Earlier this month our dear friend Albert underwent emergency surgery to remove a mass in his colon. Thankfully the surgery was a success but a large portion of his colon had to be removed. In 4-6 weeks he will undergo chemotherapy, and we pray he will be cancer free going forward. He is committed and focused on recovery, but at this moment he is unable to work and will need our help and support.

It’s impossible to imagine that in this day and age, when a dedicated hard worker like Albert gets sick, the paychecks stop. This fundraiser is being set up to help Albert not fall behind, to hold onto what he’s worked his entire life for, and pay for any medical expenses that his insurance doesn’t cover. Know that Albert is the sole beneficiary of this fundraiser and he will receive every dollar raised.
