Celebration of Life for Don

It’s hard to find the right words for someone who meant so much to so many.

Our dad, Don, recently passed away, leaving behind two daughters, his mother, family, and friends who loved him dearly.

Don was a fisherman out of Point Judith and spent much of his life on the water. He was one of the hardest-working people we knew. Whether he was out on the boat, working in his garden, walking through the woods with his dog, or just enjoying the outdoors, he always seemed to find beauty in the little things. He loved taking pictures and would send them to family and friends photos from the boat, his garden, wildlife he spotted.

Don had his struggles, and sadly addiction took him from us far too soon. But that isn’t all of who he was. He was a son, a father, a friend, and a man who loved nature, loved his dog, and cared deeply about the people in his life.

We’re raising money to help cover the costs of a celebration of life so family and friends can come together, share stories, and remember Don the way he would have wanted.
