My name is Zachary, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family in Redding, CA. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant with our third son, and we’ve been through an incredibly difficult journey these past few months. At the end of July, my wife suffered an unexpected heart attack. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down. I had to leave my job as a Kitchen Supervisor at Chick-Fil-A to find something more flexible so I could be there for my wife and our children.

What we thought would be a routine follow-up appointment turned into a week-long hospital stay at UCSF. Since October, we’ve had to make at least two trips a month to San Francisco for her care. The costs of travel, lodging, and food have piled up quickly, and we were completely unprepared for this. On top of that, our car needs an oil change, and the cost has been out of reach. With a new baby on the way, we’re also in need of essentials like diapers, wipes, formula, and other supplies.

I’ve put my absolute faith in God, and He has blessed our family in so many ways. I know that He will continue to provide, and I am asking for help from friends, family, and even strangers who feel moved to support us. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us.
