In April 2025, our world changed when my fiancé was diagnosed with cancer. We faced the diagnosis together, determined to fight for her health and for our kids. After months of treatment, we were relieved when the cancer was removed in July, and the pathology and scans looked promising. For a brief moment, we felt hope returning to our lives. Unfortunately, that hope was short-lived. The cancer has come back, and this time it’s even more aggressive. We are doing everything we can to support her and keep our family strong, but the challenges are overwhelming. Between lawyer fees, basic bills, and the income lost from missing work, it’s been hard to keep up. We’re also traveling frequently to the Mayo Clinic for her care, which adds to our expenses. On top of that, we’re trying to plan for the future—setting up a trust, preparing for probate if needed, and making sure our kids will be okay no matter what happens.
