My name is Georgiann, and I’m reaching out because my family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My fiancé and I are doing our best to care for our two young children—a 3-year-old and a newborn who is just 20 days old. On top of the challenges of raising little ones, we’re also facing a crisis with my mother-in-law, who has been in the hospital for the past month. Now almost 2. She’s endured multiple surgeries (5) due to sepsis & calcification she has tragically lost most of her leg and her ability to walk. The hospital informed us that she is the only patient that has got this without getting dialysis. I also had an emergency C-Section.

With so much happening at once, and paying for her medical bills we’re struggling to keep up with our bills. Every day is a balancing act as we try to cover rent, gas, and mounting medical expenses, all while making sure our children are safe and cared for. It’s heartbreaking to ask for help, but we’ve reached a point where we can’t do it alone.
