Re-upping as we had a major, heartbreaking set back. Our gorgeous 17 year old void (Gatsby) in the front of the photo was very ill and passed away Oct 2. He was my best friend, by my side day and night for the whole of his life. I do not even know what Friday's veterinary bill will be, after the appointment and emergency care and bloodwork we had to go there and let him move on to be at peace. I left, a sobbing mess and they said I could pay when I pick up his remains.

We also lost almost all of our refrigerated and frozen food last week when our refrigerator broke. There have been rather a lot of unexpected expenses in the span of a few days, and more than a lot of pain.

Hoping for a little mutual aid from people, if anyone can afford it at this point! Thanks for looking, so much.
