The flood happened. That 100-year flood people talk about. Those natural disasters that you don't think will happen to you. Yeah. That flood.

At this time, we haven't been able to assess the damage to our trailer or property due to the river water still being so high that we can't even get halfway down our road. Of course, we will update as we learn more about what we need. But right now? We are staying at a hotel with the kids, and our cats in the vehicle in the parking lot. As it gets colder, we will definitely need to figure something else out for the critters, and we are also planning on needing to save enough for a trailer down payment as we are pretty sure that our trailer is a loss. That's our home. Everything we have is there.

We are asking for help with motel costs, general surviving costs, and hopefully enough to cover a down payment on a new trailer. Anyone who knows Johnnie and I (and the kids) know that we have been through the ringer and have worked so damn hard to get ahead. This is a major setback, and hopefully, with y'all's help, we can get back to some semblance of normal. We appreciate all of you.
