Help Our Family Through Medical Expenses After the Loss of Our Beloved Son

With a heavy heart, we are reaching out for support after the unimaginable loss of our beloved son.

Our son was diagnosed with epilepsy at just 1½ years old and had been on seizure medication since he was 16 months old. From such a young age, he fought bravely. His condition was diagnosed as Lennox Gastuat Syndrome (LGS). A rare form of childhood epilepsy. we moved to the US two years ago with the main goal of getting better medical help for our son.

Despite his medical challenges, he was a joyful, gentle, and deeply spiritual child.

Tragically, on January 4th, he had a seizure in his sleep which led to a cardiac arrest. He was placed on a ventilator for four days. After battling with immense strength, our son passed away on January 8th and left this world.

My husband is the sole earner, and I and our children are his dependents. We also have another child who is currently in 11th grade and needs stability and support during this painful time.

We are now facing overwhelming hospital and medical bills, along with urgent travel expenses as we must return to India to perform our son’s final rites and rituals according to our faith.

We never imagined asking for help in this way, but during this time of grief and financial strain, we humbly seek support. Any contribution—no matter how small—will help us manage medical expenses, travel costs, and support our family as we try to heal.
