A few weeks ago, my husband was admitted to the hospital after experiencing numbness on his entire left side. After several tests, doctors initially thought it was a pinched nerve and sent him home. Unfortunately, this past Monday, his symptoms returned much worse than before. I rushed him to the hospital, and after more tests, we received the devastating news that he essentially has a broken neck and required immediate surgery.

Because of this, my husband is unable to work his last two weeks at his job, which means our family will have no income for the foreseeable future. I am actively looking for work and have been through several interview processes, but I have not secured an offer yet. This situation has left us facing immediate financial challenges, including medical bills, rent, groceries, and the out-of-pocket costs for physical therapy and additional specialist visits that my husband will need as he recovers.
