On March 27, 2026, our lives changed forever when we had to deliver our twin daughters at just 24 weeks. The decision was made because one of our babies suffered a brain bleed, and both were affected by Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). It was an emergency situation, and we were filled with hope and fear as we welcomed our girls into the world.
Tragically, we lost our sweet Ruby Mae shortly after delivery. Even in her brief time with us, she touched the hearts of everyone around her. Our other daughter, Sapphire Dawn, is still in the NICU and will likely remain there for at least the next two months. She is fighting every day to get stronger so she can come home and be with her family.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for us. We are currently out of work so we can be by Sapphire’s side and take the time we need to mourn Ruby. The medical bills, living expenses, and other costs are overwhelming, and we are reaching out for help from our community. Any support you can offer will help us focus on our girls and begin to heal. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this heartbreaking time.
