My name is Dulce, I am 24 years old, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family—my five-month-old daughter and my four-year-old son. Our lives changed dramatically when my baby girl was born with a heart murmur and later diagnosed with DiGeorge (22q11) syndrome. Her condition requires constant medical attention, frequent visits to heart specialists, and a lot of supervision. She is currently hospitalized and will need heart surgery. At the same time, my four-year-old son needs speech therapy, and I am doing my best to support both of my children through these challenges.

Because of my daughter's medical needs, I am not working right now—my priority is to care for her and my son. This has made it incredibly hard to keep up with our daily expenses, and we have fallen behind on rent and utilities. Every day is a struggle as I try to meet our family's basic needs while focusing on my children's health and recovery.

I am doing everything I can, but the financial strain is overwhelming. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my daughter's medical bills, my son's therapy, and help us cover essential living expenses like rent, utilities, and groceries. We have received some support from local nonprofits, but the need is greater than what they can provide. I am deeply worried about the possibility of eviction and what that would mean for my children during this already stressful time.
