Our daughter was unfortunately severely mistreated at Berkeley High which has made her unable to continue her education. We’ve tried for two years to make things work and get our daughter the support she needs but the school has yet to meet all of her IEP requirements.

An IEP is an individualized education program for kids with disabilities. It is a binding contract that makes it so all children get their needs met in school.

This past month the school has responded extremely poorly and compromised our daughter’s safety.

We can’t in good conscience send our daughter back to that school, and we’ve been working with a lawyer to get her the education she deserves.

In order to move forward with this process we have to hire an IEE. An IEE is an independent education evaluation, to continue with our case against BHS. This evaluation costs 8,500 and if you’re able to donate anything it would be a greatly appreciated help.
