Support for Our Dad Agustin’s Multiple Myeloma Battle

As I write this it brakes my heart, My dad Agustin Salgado is the most positive, giving, and kind soul—he’s a hard worker and is a wonderful dad to me and my siblings, he’s also an amazing husband to my mom. He’s definitely an amazing grandpa as well. We just recently received an extremely sudden and difficult news, my dad has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This rare and painful cancer diagnosis has severely impacted his capabilities, fractured his neck and just had hip surgery as a result of the cancer cells deteriorating his bones, and is creating hardships that no one deserves to go through.

At this time my dad doesn’t have health insurance and the medical bills are starting to pile up and he has just started treatment with a long road ahead. We have put together this fundraiser to help offset medical bills and cover other necessities as my dad’s treatment will likely impact his return to work as quickly as anticipated.

All funds raised will go to help expenses incurred by this devastating cancer. One item needed as soon as possible is an adjustable bed as my dad cannot go upstairs in his house and is currently sleeping in a reclining chair downstairs.

On behalf of my dad and our family, the outpouring of love and support is what is helping him through this extremely painful and difficult time. While any amount is greatly appreciated, the continued prayers, love, and support make a significant impact.
