Our family recently received heartbreaking news — my father has been diagnosed with lung cancer at a very advanced stage. Everything happened so quickly, and we are still trying to process what this means for him and for all of us who love him deeply.
My dad is the kind of person who has always shown up for everyone else without hesitation. He is not only the primary provider for my parents’ household, but also an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren absolutely adore him, and he plays such a big role in their everyday lives — from making them laugh and cheering them on to simply being their safe place and biggest supporter.
As he begins this fight against cancer, our family wants to focus on what matters most: his health, treatment, and time together. Unfortunately, the financial burden that comes with medical appointments, treatments, missed work, and everyday expenses is overwhelming.
We are asking for help to ease some of that stress so my parents can focus on getting through this difficult time without worrying about how they will make ends meet.
