Anyone who knows our dad Pancho, knows that he is pillar of strength for his entire family. On Feb.5th when our grandpa died, he knew he needed to be by our grandma’s side and flew to Mexico.

Unfortunately on Feb.9th - days before he was due to return home, he tested positive for COVID-19 along with our grandmother and some of his siblings.

Initially he tried to recover and quarantine at our grandma’s house but as everyone else around him experienced mild symptoms, our dad got the worst of it. His fever increasingly got worse and his oxygen levels decreased significantly.

On Feb. 19th we had no other option but to hospitalize him. Once there, they confirmed he had a lung infection and his lungs were extremely inflammed.

On Feb. 23rd as his condition worsened, his medical team made the decision to intubate him to give his lungs a much needed rest. Our mom Norma left on the first flight to Mexico to be by his side.

Today he is still intubated but we have high hopes for his recovery. Since he is being treated in Mexico, we are unable to use his health insurance coverage and at this time we have to cover the hospital fees upfront.

Any contribution to cover his medical expenses will help us at this time. Any amount big or small will be appreciated and our family will be forever grateful.

If you are unable to donate monetarily, we please ask that you keep our Dad in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
