Support for Our Dad, Chet, as He Fights Cancer
(Please help us keep this a secret from Chet and Connie.)
Our dad, Chet, was recently diagnosed with Stage II–III esophageal cancer. He will begin chemotherapy next week, followed by a major surgery with the hope of removing the tumor completely. His treatment and recovery are expected to take about six months.
If you know our dad, you know he has always been the most dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and provider. His work has always been his passion, and he is hoping to continue part-time during treatment. But because of the seriousness and aggressiveness of this cancer, we want him to have the chance to truly rest, focus on healing, and spend meaningful time with family.
We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and to give him the gift of peace — the ability to step back from work without worry and concentrate fully on his recovery.
We are deeply grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. Your generosity means more than words can express.
Our plan is to surprise both Dad and Mom (Connie) on Christmas Day with the funds raised, as a reminder of how loved and supported they are.
“For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” — Psalm 91:11
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
