Support a Colleague Facing an Unexpected Financial & Medical Emergency

We are coming together to support a valued colleague and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant who is currently facing an unexpected financial and medical hardship.

While traveling to a patient’s home for work, she was involved in a car accident when her vehicle was sideswiped by another driver. Thankfully, her injuries were considered minor; however, she is currently awaiting MRI results to fully assess the extent of her injuries. This incident has understandably added physical, emotional, and financial stress during an already difficult time.

Compounding the situation, her most recent paycheck has been significantly delayed in transit, with multiple delivery changes and no confirmed arrival date. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, the delay has created an urgent financial gap. As a result, she is now facing late fees from her landlord and the potential cancellation of her car insurance—something that directly affects her ability to work and attend medical appointments.

This situation is not due to poor planning or irresponsibility, but rather an unfortunate series of events completely outside of her control. Like many of us, she relies on timely paychecks to meet essential obligations.

This GoFundMe has been created to help bridge this gap by assisting with immediate necessities such as housing-related fees, transportation and insurance costs, and medical expenses while she focuses on recovery and awaits further medical results.
