Nick Horton tragically passed away late Saturday night, while riding home from work. He is survived by his loving wife Kim and family. Nick had the biggest heart and would do anything for his friends and family. Nick and Kim loved spending time in the kitchen together making pasta and other meals together. They both had Monday’s off and would take many adventures together, cruising on their motorcycle around town. Nick often picked Kim up after work and was able to meet many of the iheartswimming families during her lessons. We are creating this campaign to help support Kim as she navigates during this uncertain time. As you can imagine, Kim is grieving right now and the last thing we want her to worry about is finances. 

From all of us at iheartswimming, our hearts are broken right now, as we are a family. There are no words to express our condolences but we are here for Kim and share in her grief. 

From an iheartswimming family: “My family and I have had Kim teach our boys swim lessons for the past year or so. During that time not only did we grow closer to Kim, but we had the privilege of knowing her wonderful husband, Nick. We were always the last lesson of the day so we got that extra time with the two of them just chatting about anything and everything. We absolutely adore Kim and Nick! I’ll never forget the way the two of them embraced my family, especially our boys. After swim lessons, Nick would go out of his way to take the boys over to his motorcycle , letting them touch everything in it. Just WOWing my little guys. I’ll never forget it. Man, we will miss Nick! We know nothing can bring him back but we want to make sure Kim feels all the love and support around her! RIP Nick, We hope you’re enjoying a Havasu Big Blue Van watching over that beautiful wife of yours!!”
