Support for Our Beloved Brother's Medical Journey

A Special Request for Help for our family member, your friend and My Big Brother (AKA: Alfonso Garay).

Hi everyone,

Although he may not need much of an introduction, I want to re-introduce you to my brother. Whether you are family, a friend, or even a stranger who's been touched by his kindness, you know how much he gives to others. His heart is bigger than life, and for years, he has been a constant source of joy, support, and generosity.

If you were hungry, he'd buy you a meal. If you were cold, he'd give you his jacket. If you were struggling, his last dollar was yours. If you were going through tough times, he was there to listen, to make you laugh, or simply to reassure you that everything would be OK.

Today, my brother needs us.

As many of you know, three years ago he was injured at work, which led to a series of medical challenges. Despite the struggles, he has always been there for everyone else. Since then, Workmen's Comp. has only covered part of his salary, and his health has declined with a back injury and continued mobility issues.

Medical treatments and specialists have been unable to fix the underlying problem, and his mounting medical bills-uncovered by Workmen's Comp-have led to a financial crisis.

To make matters worse, he's been paying for expensive COBRA insurance, but it's simply not enough to keep up with the costs.

As a family and community, I believe we can show him just how much he's loved. I've started a GoFundMe to help ease the burden of these financial struggles. Any contribution, whether monetary, supportive messages, or prayers, will make a huge difference in his life right now.
