My 10-month Arthur (Artie) was diagnosed with seizures a little over a month ago. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down.As a parent, there is nothing more terrifying than not knowing when your baby will have another seizure. He has been in the emergency room four times in just one month, and each visit has been terrifying and exhausting for our family. The stress and uncertainty of his medical condition have made it impossible for me to work, and my fiancé has had to leave work multiple times to be with us during hospital stays and to help with everything at home.

On top of the medical challenges, we were forced to move on very short notice. Our landlord became upset about the frequent emergency calls to our apartment and pressured us to leave, even asking us when we would move while my fiancé was on the way to the hospital during our son's first seizure. We had to pay a large amount to secure a new apartment immediately, which has put a huge strain on our finances.

We are reaching out for support because our son's medical condition has created challenges we never expected.
