Our 1-year-old son is currently fighting for his life at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He’s on a ventilator, with a breathing tube, feeding tube, chest tube, and a catheter. Just a short time ago, we were admitted to ARH hospital, where an X-ray showed only a little haziness. But 25 hours later, another X-ray revealed his left lung was almost completely covered with fluid, except for one small spot. He had to be flown out to Cabell Huntington, and our world turned upside down in an instant.

We’re doing everything we can to be by his side, but it’s a struggle. We have two other children at home, and the costs of travel, food, and bills are piling up fast. With little to no money to work with, every day brings new challenges. We want to make sure our son has everything he needs while also caring for our family at home.
