Support For Oscar's Chemotherapy

Oscar is a 4 years young Giant Schnauzer. We met him one fateful day as we were walking by an adoption event that featured dogs who were rescued from Mexico. He was found in Rosarito wandering the streets with long dreadlocks, scars on his face and several injuries. The moment we saw him it was an instant bond. He placed his head next to our sides as if to say “I belong with you, please take me.” From that moment we fostered him and couldn’t let him go. We adopted him February of 2017.

A year later, Oscar collapsed after a fun day out in the sunshine. He had to have an emergency surgery to remove his spleen, which was bleeding uncontrollably. We held onto each other during this time - Oscar is a part of us, and we are not whole without him. And a month later we noticed one of his lymph nodes was swollen. He was then diagnosed with high-grade lymphoma.

Oscar is now fighting the good fight with a smile on his face. He loves life, he loves playing ball, but we love him so much more. He has 16 rounds of chemo to go through. We are doing our best to get him through these days and appreciate all the love and support that our furry friends and their family can give.

Love,

Edwin & Katrina
