Oscar Vargas, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, tragically passed away on April 7th at the age of 66. He suffered severe brain damage in a collision with another 18-wheeler, caused by a third vehicle, and despite every effort, there was no remedy for his injuries. Oscar was the heart of our family, working tirelessly as a truck driver for 40 years to provide for us. He was a loving father to me and my two brothers, and a cherished grandfather to my 13-year-old son. My mother, his wife of 40 years, dedicated her life to supporting him and our family.

His sudden loss has left us devastated and overwhelmed. We are now facing unexpected costs and bills, including funeral expenses and the cost of repatriating his body to Guatemala for burial. My mother, who was a housewife, is struggling to manage these financial burdens without Oscar, her sole provider.
