Less than two weeks ago, our lives were turned upside down. What started as a visit to the hospital for Oscar due to stomach pain has resulted in the news no one was prepared to hear.

Oscar has been diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal cancer. It has metastasised and is spreading.

As you can imagine, we are overwhelmed, heartbroken, and in shock.

Yet, in the midst of this storm, there is a profound sense of grace. Oscar and Thirak are experiencing moments of deep, tender love, enormous heart-opening, and a sense of acceptance and trust that is truly moving to witness.

We are navigating this challenging time with great love, even as we face the uncertainty of how this will unfold.

Oscar is currently being exceptionally well cared for by the medical team at Tweed Heads Hospital, and we are hopeful he may be able to return home next week to be with his family.

As they transition into this next chapter, Thirak needs to give her full attention to Oscar and their son, Leonardo. This means she is currently unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Our goal is to alleviate the financial stress that comes with such a diagnosis, allowing Thirak to focus entirely on her family and making every moment count without the weight of mounting expenses.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward their living expenses and care.
