Hello, my name is Erick Garibay, and I write this with a heavy heart. On Friday, December 13, I received devastating news. My younger brother, Oscar Garibay, just 36 years old and a father to three young daughters (12, 7, and 3 years old), was struck by a gray Mustang while crossing the street. According to witnesses, the driver was playing loud music and had been drinking.

Oscar, a devoted son, brother, and friend, is currently unconscious, sedated, and intubated. He underwent a successful first surgery to address a serious head injury, including the removal of a piece of his skull to drain a hemorrhage. Despite this, his condition remains critical.

My parents are by his side in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting any updates, while the medical bills continue to rise with each passing day.
