Support for Oscar Garcia Flores' Funeral Expenses

Here is a little information about him and the funeral.

Oscar Garcia Flores, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2025, in Temple, Texas, at the age of 53. Oscar, a longtime resident of Belton, will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Oscar was born on June 8, 1971, in Matamoros, Mexico, to Fernando Flores Bochas and Sixta Garcia Ramirez. He married the love of his life, Miryam Lenor Carranza, in Mexico on August 3, 1996. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising three wonderful children. Oscar was a skilled carpenter, working diligently with a highway construction company throughout his career.

Oscar's greatest joy came from his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He found contentment in the simple things, whether it was fishing, tending to the ranch and farm, riding horses, or tinkering with cars and trucks. His quiet strength and dedication to his passions were an inspiration to those around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 29 years, Miryam; his son, Oscar Flores; and his daughters, Jovanna and Miriam Flores. He is also survived by his brothers, Fernando Flores, Conrado Flores, and Lino Ortiz; and his sisters, Evelia Trevino, Raquel Flores, Guadalupe Martinez, Maria Socorro Flores, Benita Arevalo, and Irene Flores.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Sixta.

Funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas. Burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home.
