Support for Minor Children Orphaned in Lesotho Africa

Donation protected
It has now been 7 months since this tragic accident. This account has raised $50,000 but our goal is $100,000. Please consider donating if you haven't already.

Nearly 3 months ago on June 21st, in Lesotho Africa, a Sprinter van carrying youth and adult advisors to a church activity was in a devastating multi-vehicle highway collision. Fifteen people died including adults that left 3 orphaned children ages 10, 6 and 3. A separate 5 year old girl lost her mother, and many other young women and leaders were seriously injured.

My name is Randy Holmgren. In cooperation with legal colleagues—Paden Hanson and David Bishop in Utah, and colleagues in Johannesburg, South Africa and Lesotho Africa—we are seeking donations to a IRS qualified non-profit 501(3)(c) organization that we have created to aid and benefit the 4 orphaned children and others Lesotho, Africa that were directly affected.

Three of the children were orphaned when their mother and father were killed. A fourth child lost her mother in the same collision. All four of the children are being cared for by relatives.

The purpose for these funds is first to help the relatives raise the children to adulthood (food, clothing, shelter, education), and then any additional funds will go directly to help those directly affected by the accident.
