Our eleven month old son, Orion, contracted RSV and his condition worsened rapidly. We admitted him to our local hospital, and within half a day, he needed to be intubated and life flighted to the UC Davis pediatric unit. The experience has been overwhelming, and the medical bills, along with the costs of having our family stay out of town to support him, are beginning to stack up. My wife will also need to take time off work to care for him, which adds to our financial strain.
We are still in shock at how quickly Orion’s situation declined, but we are grateful to share that he is now stabilized and receiving excellent care at UC Davis. We are hopeful that he will make a fast turnaround and return to being the happy, smiling boy that he is. Our family is deeply grateful for any financial support you are able to offer and for any uplifting words during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us as we focus on Orion’s recovery.
