I have stage 3 Squamous cell carcinoma oral cancer. 2 surgeries. Did 10 radiation treatments. The doctor said it was the most aggressive oral cancer they have seen. I got approved for a clinical trial infusion treatments. I had my first treatment a week ago, which was an 8 hour treatment and I had an reaction within an hour. After about 30 minutes or so I continued the treatment without any problem. My clinical trial is free, unless its CT scans, mri or any test orders by my doctor. Then I have to pay the deductible. I have market insurance that cost 88.00 a month. Which is cheap, but with no income it gets hard to pay. That's why I do uber as much as I can so I can pay my insurance, get gas to go back and forth to Nashville at times and Dickson other times. The treatments make me tired alot and short of breath, so I have to force myself to do uber or even clean the house. I'm sure smoking is the main cause, but even my doctor said there are other caus3s, from loose fitting dentures, drinking, bad teeth, Hpv cancer. Not asking for handouts or pity. Anything helps and prayers is great. I pray each night that my treatments work, or at least to get it slowed down before it travels to any organs.
