My name is IvyAnn, and I am a Pre‑K teacher creating this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my students, Olivia, and her wonderful family. I have had the privilege of teaching Olivia this year, and she is a bright, kind, artistic, and joyful child who brings so much light into our classroom. It breaks my heart to share what her family is now facing.

On February 17th, 2026, Olivia’s parents, Kim and Tom, took her to the ER after noticing swelling in her lymph nodes. What they believed would be a quick, routine visit turned into every parent’s worst nightmare in less than 24 hours.

The following morning, February 18th, the family met with an oncologist. By 1 p.m., they received the devastating news no parent should ever have to hear:

"Olivia has leukemia, and she must begin chemotherapy immediately."

This diagnosis has completely upended their world. Olivia is the oldest of three young children, with two little brothers who are just 2.5 and almost 1. Their family is now navigating a frightening and uncertain road ahead.

Tom, Olivia’s father, is an active member of our military who has dedicated his life to serving others and protecting our freedom. Kim is a phenomenal mother who pours her heart into her children and gives far more than she ever receives. They are loving, selfless parents, but this is a battle no family can face alone.

As they prepare for long days and nights in the hospital, the financial strain is already overwhelming. Their boys still need consistent childcare. Their bills, and everyday expenses continue. And the medical costs for testing, surgeries, and treatments are already piling up.

Being a military family means their support system is spread across the country. They don’t have immediate family nearby to lean on during this crisis, which makes community support even more essential.

- Provide meals, transportation, and daily necessities
