Our son Oliver was born prematurely at 32 weeks on February 17. From the moment he arrived, we were filled with hope and love, but soon learned that he faced unimaginable challenges. Doctors discovered that Oliver had severe brain damage, and for nine days, they did everything possible to help him. Despite their efforts, we were told that Oliver would never be able to talk, walk, eat, or breathe on his own. On February 26, we had to say goodbye to our precious boy.
This loss has left our family heartbroken. As we try to navigate this difficult time, we are facing unexpected expenses for Oliver’s funeral and the reality of being out of work while we grieve. My parents have offered to pay for everything, but we feel bad for having them carry that burden alone. The financial strain adds to the pain, but we know we are not alone.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us give Oliver the farewell he deserves and allow us to focus on healing. If you are unable to give, sharing our story or sending kind words means the world to us. Thank you for holding our family in your thoughts and for any support you can offer.
