Oksana Postranska lives in Ukraine, where her family has experienced devastation and hardship in their own neighborhood. They are struggling to get by as their income has been drastically reduced while prices have risen by 61%. Oksana graduated from Hannibal High School as a foreign exchange student in 2008. In Hannibal—where Purple Pride Never Dies—we are one of the most supportive communities I’ve ever been grateful to be part of. Oksana has always been a caring friend, and now she and her family need our help more than ever.

The ongoing crisis in Ukraine has made daily life extremely difficult for Oksana’s family. With limited resources and rising costs, they are facing uncertainty about how to cover basic needs like food, housing, and medical care.
