On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber was shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a call in West Philadelphia. He was 40 years old, a 10-year veteran of the department, and an Air Force veteran.

But Shane was so much more than the uniform. He was loving, funny, and charismatic, the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into and could make anyone laugh. He adored his family fiercely. His wife Lisa and their two young children, 7-year-old Finn and 3-year-old Emily, were his whole world, and everything he did, he did for them. He will be greatly missed.

Lisa has given me her blessing to start this fundraiser. Every dollar raised here goes directly to Lisa and the kids. Lisa is the listed beneficiary, and the funds will help with immediate expenses and the long road ahead: bills, childcare, and keeping life as stable as possible while they grieve.
