I am deeply saddened to share the passing of Officer Alexander of the Connecticut Department of Corrections, Class 289. Officer Alexander’s service and dedication to protecting and supporting others will not be forgotten. Choosing a career in corrections reflects strength, courage, and a commitment to the well-being of the community—qualities that leave a lasting impact on colleagues, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his presence.
He had a remarkable way of making everyone he encountered smile and feel a sense of happiness, a reflection of the kindness and positivity he carried with him each day. His work truly mattered, and the bonds formed through his service will be cherished by all who knew him. During this incredibly difficult time, we hope that his family and friends find comfort in the memories shared and the support of the community.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Officer Alexander’s family to help them navigate the challenges ahead. This is a time where we need all hands on deck. Alexander was the light to our smiles. To know him was a blessing, to interact with him was a breath of fresh air, and to have him as a friend was more like family. Please consider supporting his loved ones—your generosity, compassion, and encouragement mean more than words can express.
