Ryan's Fight with Glioblastoma

It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing my best friend's current heart break. Back story, I met the O'Connors years ago. It only took a short time for the O' Connors relationship with my family and I to turn from friends to family. Ryan is 32 years old, Madison 29 years old, Daisy 4 years old and Evelyn is 3 years old.

On the 25th of May, Madison had called me crying, letting me know their family vacation quickly turned into a nightmare. As they were traveling to their AirBNB, Ryan started having a seizure while driving. Luckily the vehicle was brought to a complete stop and he was taken away by ambulance. Ryan and Madison spent the entirety of their vacation in the hospital.

Ryan underwent a awake craniotomy June 18th, the pathology reports came back July 5th. With the most heartbreaking diagnosis, grade 4 glioblastoma. Unfortunately, with the treatment plan extending longer than expected. Ryan will run out of his short term disability, because he hasn't been with the company for a year he is not eligible for Long Term or FMLA. With this being said, per company policy his job will no longer be protected and he will be terminated. I wanted to start a GofundMe for the family in hopes of raising whatever we can to help the family.
