My granddaughter Oakley just turned one, and she has been facing serious health challenges since birth. She has been aspirating, which means she has trouble swallowing safely, and this has required constant care and attention. My daughter, Oakley’s mom, is unable to work because Oakley needs her full-time care. Oakley also has two older brothers, ages three and two, so the demands on my daughter are enormous.

My ex-wife and I have been doing everything we can to support them—helping with car payments, insurance, rent, and all the daily expenses that come with raising three young children. However, after a year of this, our savings are gone. We are now at a point where we don’t know what else to do, and we’re reaching out for help from our community.

The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward daily living costs, car payments, insurance, gas, and other essential expenses for my daughter and her children.
