Nova is my young nephew, and he means the world to our family. Two years ago, we lost my sister, and since then, Nova has faced more challenges than any child should. He has Autism, and after my sister passed, his dad decided he could no longer care for him. That’s when my mom and stepdad stepped in and took custody of Nova, determined to give him the love and stability he deserves.

Unfortunately, both my mom and stepdad are unable to work due to their own medical issues. This has made it incredibly difficult to provide for Nova’s needs. He requires ongoing medical care, nutritious food, clothing, and even glasses—essentials that every child should have, but which are hard to afford right now.
