Norma is the Director of Nursing at the facility where I work, and she has always been a source of strength and support for everyone around her. Over the past three months, Norma has faced an unimaginable series of hardships. She lost her maternal grandmother during Thanksgiving 2025, and just a few weeks later, her mother was diagnosed with cancer in December. As if that wasn't enough, another close family member passed away in January 2026.

Despite these consecutive losses, Norma has continued to care for her patients and staff with unwavering dedication. However, the emotional toll has been compounded by the financial burden of her mother's cancer treatment. The copayments for chemotherapy and other medical expenses are adding up quickly, making this time even more challenging for Norma and her family.
