Our mother was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago. We all were shocked when we heard the news, especially since she isn't a smoker and rarely ever drank. Her chemo and radiation for her lungs ended and she seemed to be doing great. Then she began to suffer from migraine headaches.
In December of last year she was having a crippling migraine. During this trip to the ER doctors discovered her cancer had metastasized to her brain. To make matters worse the her cancer has now spread to her bones. Treatment for this has taken its toll on her and the family. Mother has lost cognition, she is very weak and needs to have round the clock care. We care for her everyday between us four siblings and our father.
As you can imagine seeing our mother and father go through this is heartbreaking. We are hoping for financial help so that our father can concentrate on our mothers care and not worry about bills or missing work. This will also help pay for her medical insurance and medication.
