Support for Nolan and the Newman Family

Hello friends. I'm Shā, the “Mom” to Jami , and “Shammy” to Nolan. I am reaching out raise funds for this precious and vivacious 4-year old boy and his mom and dad, Blake and Jami Newman. Nolan has just been diagnosed with Leukemia in addition to the many, many doctor visits, numerous therapies, a diagnosis of a rare disease called Sweets Syndrome (rarediseases.org) and other health issues he has had since he was a baby. With this new revelation and the urgent direction of his doctors, Nolan is enduring an immediate blood transfusion, then being FLOWN by plane from Baton Rouge, LA to St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN for immediate treatment. Unfortunately, Nolan is not the only one fighting against cancer in this family; Jami is also in the midst of receiving treatments for a cancer diagnosis that came a few months ago. Blake and Jami are preparing to be with Nolan in Memphis for an unknown amount of time. Jami will also need to get her treatments which are currently set up in Baton Rouge. They are hoping that arrangements can be made so she can receive treatments in Memphis. Blake and Jami both work and depend on their jobs for survival; however, there is much uncertainty with the requirements of what is to come.
