Hi, my name is David, and Noah is my wonderful husband and partner of 16+ years. Yesterday morning, Noah started to complain about sharp abdominal pains, and by noon, his pain was so severe we had to rush him to the ER. After a few hours of tests and a CT scan, he was diagnosed with a ruptured appendix and needed to be rushed into surgery before he went into septic shock. Noah's birthday is May 12th, and he’ll be deep in recovery when his birthday comes along. I’m hoping that by starting this GoFundMe, I can help relieve some of the toll that the stress and emotional response to this unexpected emergency has caused on his body - allowing him to properly rest and recover.



 Noah is one of the most thoughtful, caring, and compassionate people I've ever met, and together we run and operate a nonprofit called Classroom of Compassion. We’ve dedicated our lives for the past 5 years to caring for our communities, both locally and nationwide. We’ve done all the work we’ve done as volunteers and have never taken a salary from our practice. Our day-to-day livelihood depends on gig work, production jobs, and floral gigs. With his recovery, we will have to rely on my ability to provide for both of us this upcoming month.
