Support for Noah: Fighting Thyroid Cancer Together

We're reaching out for support for one of our DSG members, Renee Rosales Vasquez, whose only son, Noah, has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This diagnosis in early May came as a big shock to the family. While they have faced other health concerns with Noah, nothing has been as serious as this. Unfortunately, the initial treatment he received from doctors in Texas did not provide the level of care needed for a child patient, treating him more like a number. Seeking better care, they reached out to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, known for specializing in thyroid cancer and being among the best in the nation. The hospital accepted Noah right away and scheduled an appointment. His diagnosis was confirmed, and he is now scheduled for surgery on June 8 to remove his thyroid and lymph nodes.
