We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the tragic news of the sudden passing of Nixon Manuel Quiñones, a 15-year-old boy who faced numerous challenges in his short life. Nixo tragically drowned while he was near the San Joaquin River with his godparents, leaving his family devastated.

Nixo's mother, a hardworking single parent, has always done everything she could to support him and his younger sister. She has worked multiple jobs cleaning houses just to make ends meet and faces a significant language barrier, as she primarily speaks Spanish. Nixo had a tough childhood filled with family problems, and despite the struggles, he was a beloved son and brother.

His mother is now faced with the overwhelming task of bringing Nixo home from a morgue several cities away. The financial burden of this, along with the funeral expenses, is more than she can bear alone. We are asking for your help to ease this burden and allow her to focus on grieving the loss of her son.
