We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the tragic news of the sudden passing of Nixon Manuel Quiñones, a 15-year-old boy who faced numerous challenges in his short life. Nixo tragically drowned while he was near the San Joaquin River with his godparents, leaving his family devastated.

Nixo's mother, a hardworking single parent, has always done everything she could to support him and his younger sister. She has worked multiple jobs cleaning houses just to make ends meet and faces a significant language barrier, as she primarily speaks Spanish. Nixo had a tough childhood filled with family problems, and despite the struggles, he was a beloved son and brother.

His mother is now faced with the overwhelming task of bringing Nixo home from a morgue several cities away. The financial burden of this, along with the funeral expenses, is more than she can bear alone.
