Dear friends, family and community,

I am creating this GoFundMe in support of my close friend Jill and her husband, Nigel. Jill and I met 22 years ago as new RNs working at Fraser Canyon Hospital and have maintained a close friendship ever since. Eight years ago, Jill met Nigel, and they soon became engaged and married. They have built their life together in Chilliwack, with Jill working as an RN and Nigel as an electrician.

Recently, Nigel received a devastating diagnosis: colon cancer with metastasis to his liver. He has been admitted to the hospital and is fighting to make to his first appointment with the BC Cancer Agency in Abbotsford on May 30th.

Jill has taken a leave from work to support Nigel and be by his side during this challenging time. As they navigate the emotional and financial strain of Nigel's diagnosis and treatment, they need our help.
