Help My 22-Year-Old Niece Fight a Mysterious and Debilitating illness

My 22-year-old niece has always been a fighter. From a very young age, she’s faced more challenges than most could ever imagine — yet she’s overcome every obstacle with incredible strength and determination. She’s the kind of person who brings warmth, laughter, and light to everyone around her. Seeing her now struggle with her health has been heartbreaking for all of us.

Over the past few months, she’s developed serious and unexplained health issues that doctors are still trying to diagnose. We believe it may be an autoimmune disorder, but despite countless tests, hospital visits, and consultations with specialists, we still don’t have clear answers. Her condition has worsened to the point where she’s lost much of her muscle control and struggles to speak for long periods of time.

Her loving partner has been by her side through every step of this journey. He’s taken on the role of full-time caregiver, helping her with daily needs, attending every appointment, and providing unwavering emotional support. He even sold his car to help cover their living expenses. But with her unable to work and him struggling to balance caregiving with his job, their finances have become stretched to the limit.

Medical bills are piling up, and the costs of ongoing testing, medications, and rehabilitation are overwhelming. She’s already started multiple rehab programs in hopes of regaining some independence and strength — but the financial strain is immense.

As a family, we’re doing everything we can to support her, but we’ve reached a point where we need help.
